Parboiled Rice has been steamed and then dried after which the outside hull layer is removed. Because the hull is removed after steaming more of the nutrients stay with the rice kernel. It cooks up faster than regular rice and has less starch in it because of the steaming process. Parboiledrice is perfect to make one pot meals, soups, and easy camp meals that you can make ahead of time and just throw into a pot of boiling water. Parboiled rice is used throughout the world.

Shelf Life: Should be stored in cool dark place- optimum condition is 60 degrees or less- for longer storage. Storing properly in our enameled cans and Super pail buckets, product may store 30 years. Bulk products need to be repackaged for long term storage.
