Utah Food Storage And Emergency Preparedness Store is a division of Your Family Still Matters, a small, family-focused business located at 175 W 900 S #14, St. George, Utah.

We have operated a physical store for many years and specialize in food storage and emergency prepardeness.

We are a member of the Better Business Bureau and have an A+ ratting. See their accreditation report.

Listen to our clever radio ads.

We were raised with traditional values including hard work, square deals and excellent service. We’ve used those values as the foundation for our business. We work hard to bring you the best products at the best prices, with the best service and support. We believe families matter and we want to help you keep your family secure under any circumstance.

We also operate an online store selling paracord, and a St George Utah music store.

Long Term Storage Food Products
With many years of experience in the food storage business, we are able to help customers build a well rounded survival plan that includes emergency food storage, water storage, (and filters), emergency cooking, first aid and more. We offer over 250 different food storage items in #10 size cans. All the products in #10 cans are either dried foods or freeze dried foods, both of which are long term storable foods.

Survival Foods & Gear
People store emergency foods or have food storage for all types of reasons such as a rainy day, provident living, lost my job, end of the world (dooms day) ect. We sell shelf-stable foods that make up an emergency food supply. Shelf life varies by product and storage temperature.

Dried foods have four major advantages over other types of food. 1-Longer shelf life. 2-Better nutritional value. 3-Same or lower costs. 4-Lots less storage space. A one year supply of food for one person will fit into a space 2′ × 3′ × 5′ with a dry food weight of about 500 lbs. Don’t be fooled by underweight food units. It takes about 1 1/2 lbs. of dry food weight (which would give you aprx. 2000 calories per day) to feed the average person and maintain body weight.

Along with survival foods we have all your emergency gear and essentials. So be Prepared.

Things to Know Before Buying Food Storage

1. Do you have good food variety? Don’t overlook variety. Variety is very important. 500 lbs of wheat is not a good food storage plan. You need balanced nutrition. The more variety you have the better off you will be. Continue reading Things to Know Before Buying Food Storage

Myths and Deceptions About Food Storage

Myths and Deceptions

Myth: All “year supply products” give you enough food. Example, some companies are selling “year supplies” that only contain about 125 lbs of dried food. That will only feed you for three months. That means you need to 4 times that amount in order to have a year supply. We have seen nationally advertized food units that only provide approximately 500 calories a day. That is equivalent to 1 McDonalds Big Mac per day (I like Big Mac’s, but that’s not much food.
